Reduce movement and rattling between a receiver hitch and the installed accessory. Choose a 304 stainless steel or carbon steel version for compatible 1.25 in and 2 in receiver setups.

Installation

1. Insert the hitch-mounted accessory and align the hitch pin.
2. Position the U-bolt around the receiver connection.
3. Install the stabilizer plate, washers and nuts, then tighten evenly.
4. Recheck the fasteners after the first trip and periodically during use.

Important: Confirm clearance and dimensions before ordering. A hitch tightener reduces movement but does not increase the rated towing capacity of any component.
