This complete trailer breakaway system includes the main control box, 12V 5200mAh lithium battery pack, breakaway switch, straight 4 ft coated breakaway cable with carabiner, and screw-lock wiring harness for electric trailer brakes.

Press the test button before towing to check the LED battery-status monitor. The included 12V 5200mAh battery supplies independent power to the trailer braking system when the breakaway switch is activated.

The IP65-rated main control box helps protect the breakaway system from dust, rain and road spray. A threaded screw-lock connector, visible O-ring and molded strain relief provide a secure connection for outdoor towing conditions.

If the trailer separates from the tow vehicle and pulls the switch pin, the included 12V battery supplies power to the electric trailer brakes. Test the emergency breakaway system after installation and before each towing trip.

The straight red coated lanyard provides a full 4 ft reach and can be looped for compact storage. The metal carabiner creates a practical tow-vehicle connection for compatible RV, camper, cargo and utility trailers with electric brakes.
